Had to be the secondary impact that car was moving and t boned him.
Suprised how fast the trailing cars shut it down everyone was stopped so quickly

He did not die on track but one hour later in the hospital, so it must have been the second impact for sure. Formula 1/2/etc and the FIA are doing quite good with their safety stuff, but this one was kinda unlucky

for sure. can not do anything about physics. The bodys internal organs (brain included) obey those laws no matter what is happening to the exoskeleton.

He may actually look 'fine' externally unless he got punctured ( but that would have likely been an on track fatality)
The car and the soft walls did their jobs, but some times its just not enough.

I was following F2’s twitter account like a hawk hoping for some good news. Reading the statement from the FIA made my heart sink into my stomach. Rest in peace Anthoine. You’ll be well looked after up there.
