English. The words with the most double letters back to back is a tie between bookkeeping and bookkeeper.
Chinese. The most complicated word in Chinese is biáng, which is an onomatopoeia for the sound dough makes when slapped against wood. It’s only used for biang biang noodles, a specialty of Xian.
French. In the word oiseaux, none of the letters are pronounced phonetically.
