While I felt like the production of mv and camera-work could been bit better (yes i'm nitpicky) I think they did rly good work in short time they had, in my knowledge they weren't first going to do mv for the song at all? I don't remember names still, but the scratches in back of the main dancer of the group were cool and i love the accessory claws they have. I really hope they are going to do performance version of this too, I mean we got one in Queendom but choreography focused I mean either dance practice or even on music shows?

I really love how CUBE is dealing with their sudden popularity/interest. I hope they continue promoting them and helping them gain more recognition.

As for the song and MV, love them both. Lion is my favorite song from Queendom and the MV didn't look very high budget but it was still really pretty.

Also, I can't be the only one that is super happy over the fact that ALL the girls sing the "I'm a QUEEN like a lion" line. I love it! Soyeon did well with the line distributions and they all KILLLED this song!

I love it! I have to admit though that I thought some of the CGI at the end was a bit janky, but it's fine. Overall I love the song and the MV. Thematically, this might be my favorite concept from them yet.

Taking into account their struggles in the past, particularly as individuals both before and after they debuted, this is a triumphant "comeback". Definitely for Soyeon since she conceptualized this and wrote the song, with all the hate she's gotten back since Produce 101. Especially for Shuhua as well. From the least experienced and one of the most ridiculed, to having such a presence in the song and MV is just like one big fuck you to all the people who tried to drag her down.

The arrows, the scratches, being caged, being framed in circles with various objects pointing at them like they're being targeted, but having the lion's "claws" on their nails and the lyrics they sing showing the theme that they were always lions/queens, all provide great imagery. I also love how their outfits get more elaborate and regal as the MV goes on. Plus, the song's been doing surprisingly well on the charts. It's been steadily rising and hit #21 on Melon yesterday.
