Really disappointed to read this today. I loved Polygon's videos and guides; I felt like they filled an important niche that other news sites didn't typically dive into. I just played Mysterium for the first time a couple weeks ago, and I knew what to do thanks to their board gaming series of videos.

I hope all the reporters can find a soft landing.

Traffic is way down on all of them kotaku does not look to be in much better shape.

lol since i pretty much only play wow/hearthstone and civ
i am good with icy veins and wow head and assorted wow sites

I kinda think Kotaku's had problems for years, tbh. These days, I use Nintendo Life for news, but that's also because I'm all in on the Nintendo Switch, so it's nice to not have to filter through games, etc. I don't care about.

But I still used Polygon all the time for game guides and followed their videos. I liked that they did something different and made it worthwhile to follow them in multiple places.
