The girls own the copyright to their group's name, but everything else still belongs to Source Music
I think they negotiated a pretty good deal with Source Music/Hybe

To add on to what Magician said the only thing that Source Music actually trademarked was Gfriends first logo and Hybe only applied for the brand when Gfriend was on their way out of Hybe and thus when the application was gotten around to it led to Hybe being rejected because the identity was too linked to the girls. Chances are what deal they made with Hybe was likely them getting all distribution rights so they can get a cut from the money their songs make as well as selling any albums which given that none of the girls are even under Hybe is very little investment from them for a big return.
