First is a beam skill called the Schäfer, created by Pauline Schäfer. I’ve never seen it done by anyone else. Its such a cool skill, and the best part is that the easier version is pretty common but so ugly, while this one is super uncommon and it looks so cool

The second if from a gymnast who has competed for a variety of countries. She competed for the USSR, then the united team after the fall of the USSR, then Uzbekistan, then Germany, then Uzbekistan. She’s been competing for ages, she was at every Olympics from 1992-2021. What led her to compete for Germany was that her son got leukemia, and they accepted an offer for her to compete for Germany while her son received treatment. Eventually, she switched back to competing for Uzbekistan, and hasn’t ruled out trying for the 2028 Olympics. She’s currently has 5 skills named after her, this one is the most well known.
It’s the first pass here. Nowadays it’s fairly common for the top floor workers, but back then it wasn’t at all.
