From what i understand SM never waits until the month.
If it comes down to the end like with SNSD folks are not resiging .
The people i have read from the inside claim its all done early. ( that is why snsd could not use the CF of the Mr. Mr. cb against sm they had all resigned already.

The vast majority of female kpop stars seem not to care from my observations.
The SES and Finkl members mostly all got married in the last 5 years some almost 20 years after they left.
aks girls get married and start families at a rate so much higher it makes the head spin.
Zero SNSD, Kara, 21 tara secret fx ect members have families. One WG member got married almost a decade ago.
go thru the list Kahi Sunye and very few others from 2nd gen have even started.

But he does say that his solo work is an extension of G7 (i think??) so he might resign as well. Mark idk man i sit in for about 4 seconds of his lives to screenshot but he always lives when i'm working. yugyeom might stay, he likes producing and performing music...? BB might, but there's a chance he might not? JB might not? Unless he stays as producer? Idk if he's pleased with jype. Jinyoung may want to focus on acting??? Youngjae i can't tell, never really stanned him much.

After JYJ, 7 year contracts became the new recommended standard but 10 year contracts weren't necessarily outlawed.

EXO has openly stated their contracts are ten years long and a member from TRAXX tried to sue to get out of his 17 year contract. Neither EXO-M nor the Traxx member were able to get their contracts terminated despite extending past 7 years. It's also worth noting that virtually no idol leaves SM after the 7 year mark
