A lot of people here have this day engraved as some sort of communist-socialist holiday so they are opposed to it, but NOT ME. I am screaming Happy Women´s Day to the left and right and demand presents for breathing because as my mother - an engineer aka one of few girls in her class who had to work twice as hard just to show that YES, SHE CAN - said we have to celebrate and we have to remind - we are humans too and not just walking ovaries. And you will be reminded about it the moment you enter your first proper, serious job interview and the eyes will meet and you will see the question "when are you planning the baby" and you will be like ..... do you ask men that question too??? and all those comments about "chill, are you on your period?" and the whole "don´t be so hysterical!"
