Has a Kpop artist ever teased a song or album and then never released it? (1 Viewer)

I came across this discussion on Reddit in regards to the western music scene, and most examples were ones where the artist was teasing a new era that the general public had no interest in and so they dropped it, pivoted, etc.

Have any kpop artists ever teased something that was then never released?

The only example I can think of was Hendery & Lucas's Jalapeño that then got dungeoned after the controversy about how Lucas treats women. (Poor Hendery)

Young Posse teased "Santa Claus is Coming to Hood" last year, which was, uh, received poorly.

They scrapped it from their Christmas single album, and it's thought that the B side "Santa Claus Left Me No Goodz" on their "Cold" album was a retooled version of the original.

Not teased as such no actual teasers(I think, I wasn't a SONE then) but somehow J&K whole album/mini album in 2014 was known to be imminently to be released/in process(?) but circumstances happened tat no such album/project was ever released(aftermath of 9/30 n subsequent/previous happenings) many r still curious how many songs exist in recorded form/how finished the album/song(s)? But alas no song(s)/album from J&K(from them) seems to ever appear in future(?).

Not teased as such no actual teasers(I think, I wasn't a SONE then) but somehow J&K whole album/mini album in 2014 was known to be imminently to be released/in process(?) but circumstances happened tat no such album/project was ever released(aftermath of 9/30 n subsequent/previous happenings) many r still curious how many songs exist in recorded form/how finished the album/song(s)? But alas no song(s)/album from J&K(from them) seems to ever appear in future(?).

I believe one version of wat happened, n in tat version Jessica was sidelined n J&K (mini-)album/songs loss was a side effect in tat version. Jessica nvr released a solo under SM during those 2 yrs(or however long from 2014 until she left to sign/join Coridel) so wat was going on with J being in SM but not doing any activities under during tat time(remind anyone of any other situation? Past or present?)

yea i was going with teh Jung sis album.

There was some hints that Russian roulette may have been in the song.
for sure Krystal was friends with Seulgi and other RV members and you never see any of that later on.

I always thought the Jug sis blowing up was more of teh cause of Jessica out than any China/business stuff.
Remember no member had a solo album yet just TTS ( which was also rumored to supposed to have had Jessica instead of say Seohyun who is very similar to Taeyeon in tone ect.) I think there were members that always hated that Jessica did so much officially with her sister. Pretty sure Jessica was the first to leave the dorm and live at home with her.
