Have you ever been in a car crash? (1 Viewer)

I got in one super young, right before my 5th birthday I believe.
There was a truck driving towards us in our lane. We went into the other lane and they followed suit before colliding head-on. Their truck was pretty much on top of us.
Surprisingly, no one was seriously hurt. I just had burns from my seatbelt and a cut in my neck, but I do remember throwing up the nachos I ate at school that day in the hospital lol
For years after that, I was terrified of being in cars, especially when on highways (because of the speed). I'd turn away from the road and hug the car seat the whole time. Even now, I have times where I get incredibly anxious because of it haha.​

had my car for a year and a street was closed due to road works.
For some reason, people's brain stop working when a road is closed cuz the amount of people i've encountered who just stop is astounding.
So I came up on the roundabout from a different street. The van who had stopped on the roundabout noticed me and started to drive, taking the first exit. I had just exited too behind him, but was still on the roundabout. All of the sudden, dude just stops and I see his reverse lights turn on. Dude was going to reverse on back onto the roundabout.
Started honking at him but he kept backing up, into my car. I have a small car with a small front so I thought "This is it", because I couldn't go backwards as there was already a car behind me.
He finally stopped when he realized his van didn't go backwards that easily.

I think he was on his phone trying to find a new route.
Dude apologized profusely and admitted it was his fault.

Luckily, the front of my car is plastic-like and i couldn't push the dent out. Damage was minor

Not a real car crash, but my mom was driving behind my dad and she slammed into the back of his truck by accident (my brother was in the car with my mom, i was in the truck with my dad and younger bro) and the impact from behind drove me insane i nearly puked

Everyone on the road is an idiot nowadays.
It is famously hard to get a drivers license here and every year, they make it harder and add more rules for young people.
It has come to a point that you need to have driving lessons, otherwise you will likely not pass.
They claim it's to keep the roads safe, yet the idiots breaking laws each day are the 30-50 year olds who their license with a pack of cereal.
It's frustrating
