Have you ever been to Disneyland/Disney World? (2 Viewers)

A friend of mine is there and posting pics from her trip. It looks fun!

I've never been before or to any of the big parks either. My state has a small amusement park, but it's not, like, a travel destination.

I feel like you'd really want to save up a lot to be able to do all the things you want to on your first go, and by the time you reach that point, they'll have raised prices.

the place is extremely crowded, there are crying, whining and vomitting children everywhere, which is to expected since it’s a park mainly for children but still lol not as fun when you are an adult
even for really small attractions we had to wait for at least one to two hours (and we went there after holidays, in the middle of the week)
also, everything IS SO EXPENSIVE. I think the cheapest thing to eat was a small pretzel for like 15€

and… disneyland paris is over 30 years old and you can see it
many places and attractions looks broken down

That makes a lot of sense. Like, I don't begrudge attractions that exist to cater to children, but I prefer to go when they have adults only nights or events, which is not really an option for Disneyland.

I'm not into most Disney movies and cartoons. There are other events in the US that would be more interesting to me, like Horror Night Tours, and the Día de los Muertos Festival in New Orleans. I would like to visit the Burning Man Festival too.

Yes for my high school graduation trip and it was a very last minute decision. I’m glad because it was so much fun. Other than that, I don’t think I would have an opportunity to go

Yes. It was very unremarkable. On the same trip I also went to Cape Canavaral, and had 10x for fun for less half the price. That was the most memorable part of the trip

Also I’m not saying that Cape Canavaral was super cheap. More so that Disney was beyond absurdly expensive

I have been to DisneyWorld a couple of times and Disneyland many times in Anaheim since I did live in California. I have also Disneyland Tokyo many times as well.
