I was talking with a friend about this and was shocked to learn that he has. Cheap fast food is barely okay when it's fresh, I can't even imagine it 20+ minutes later for delivery.

I have seen some vile thing performed by Door dash employees so, I try to keep it's use minimal. If I use it, it's enclosed product that I will know if it was tempered with.

All the time for a lot of reasons XD
I don't like eating in my car and I tend to crave fast food at night. I'm a girl who mostly lives alone in a city sooooooo
Plus, there are certain locations that consistently send food out with those delivery robots where I live those are the only locations I order at night.
The robots are cute as hell too.
For the soggy fries part, I always reheat my fast food in the air fryer.

Also for regular deliveries when the robot isnt an option, I always pick "leave at door." The eateries here do a good job at stapling and taping the bags closed, stickers on drinks, etc

I don't think i have ordered delivery for at least a decade. Then it was pizza pre any dash or uber.
Basically if i want it i go pick it up. Bring it home eat it there.
I can walk to BK, domino's, Subway could to little Caesar's( have ridden a bike), Wendy's and Jack in the box are 5 min drive max.
Taco bell is next to BK but its been 2 decades since i ate there.
Mexican and Chinese are 10/ 15 away (for less sketchy)

Sadly the good restaurant's that were close when i bought the house are all gone.

The way humanity evolved, you'd be stupid to order food from anywhere. I heard stories that are disgusting to say the least. A McDonald had opened up in my city about a year ago, and shortly after people already shared how they used kitchen towels to wipe the toilets too. Made me start to say whenever I pass that McDonald joint "Look at all those people eating that Mctoilet" lol.

personally I've like never used food delivery services
I think I got Pizza delivered once in the entire life lol

my personal reasons are more the fees on it do not outweigh the convience factor
also I have a family so cooking and food at home is a given lol

Dae used to cook for me...
Because I don't know how to cook...
but now
I just walk to a nearby food place
and get food there

I did a few times and yeah it's not the very best, but if they do a reasonable job to put into those bags that keep the food warm it gets delivered in an okay state
