One that I remember is when I worked at a grocery store and was bagging for an old lady. She asked for help putting her case of water into the car (a pack of 24). The cashier volunteered me to do it since bagging is less necessary and the lady gives me a look and then asks the cashier if she’s sure she doesn’t want to send a male instead because “it’s kind of heavy”. The cashier told her I’d be able to help just fine and the lady decided not to protest further. Spoiler alert: I did manage just fine
