I stumbled across a post where someone did a before/after of a board they made and it was interesting to see what had broad appeal and what had zero appeal.

My cousin's really into making them, so I've never had an occasion to make one.

I'm sure there's a more formal definition, but basically a meat-and-cheese board with crackers and complementary snack items like pretzels, fruit, and nuts.

Lol, right? This group clearly did not like almonds. I kinda feel for the person who put it together, because it's not like snack nuts are cheap.

I estimate a whole 20-30 bucks if the almonds were bought at costco too so like add 20% for a normal supermarket (not really but you'd be surprised sometimes) that'd balloon to 24-36 bucks. I'd be disheartened at the least.

Luckily, almond biscuits and almond custard pie is just so damn amazing when done right
