I'm curious, I know I've never seen it sold in the US but I did try it one time in Germany. From what I remember I liked it but that was a decade ago so I don't remember how it tastes all that well.

I'm kind of interested how hard it is to actually find in the US. I bet there's some stores somewhere that have it, but it would probably take a lot of hunting to find one of those

When I was a kid, every ppl in the countryside had rabbits. Now, it’s rare.
But I couldn’t eat it even as a child cuz I love rabbits so much.

Sadly yes. My mom tricked me into eating it, she said it was chicken. I cried my eyes out and almost threw up. I can eat most meats just fine like chicken, beef, pork, fish and even bison but there’s just some animals I just can’t mentally handle eating. Like if someone tricked me into eating lamb or veal I’d probably 100% throw up.

Not sure, I had it in a stew and even if I didn't I doubt I'd be able to remember the grease level 10 years later unless it was beyond bad

I can't stand when people trick others into eating foods they would never eat otherwise, like those people who give meat to vegans too. Is it really so hard to respect others wishes with food? Or anything for that matter. They wouldn't like being tricked into eating something they don't like either but somehow that doesn't matter when it's the other person whos on the receiving end

Yes, cooked properly it's delicious. But it's also easy to overcook and get too chewy.

Agreed, I especially don’t get it when someone did it to her in the past (with deer meat). She said it was to prove to me that it tasted like chicken and didn’t think it would get to me as bad as it did.

I tried it once. It had a distinctive smell and taste to it. (In the same way that lamb has a strong taste and smell.)

Had rabbit stew within the last year, absolutely loved it. You can actually get rabbit meat in the U.S., but it's usually something you need to get from a specialty butcher or a local rabbit farmer. Been looking for some ever since, I'd like to try making some things.

My family sometimes has hares for dinner, but I don't think I have ever eaten that either. We do sometimes eat some kind of meatloaf, which in Danish is called a "mock hare".

No, but I would be interested in it. I've tried kangaroo meat once and it didn't taste that great from my experience but I do know that it is very healthy
