Have your thoughts on your faves' albums changed over time? (1 Viewer)

Because my Spotify liked songs playlist was acting up, I recently finished a complete relisten of i-dle's entire discography. And when I went to go post a thread about it, I found a thread I wrote 3 years ago about their best albums, and my relisten definitely reordered that. Part of it, of course, is that they have more albums now, but part of it is that the gift of time can make things that seemed less catchy initially have more staying power because they don't get tiring as quickly and vice versa.

So... have you ever changed your thoughts about your faves' albums and ranked them differently now than you would have a few years ago?

more from re ranking with new albums. I find what i loved about them at first i still love.
Also i'll have favorites but admit maybe one is better.
for example i like GG's first album more but the boys is better most ly since the girls are better.


but i also have reranked on what i would recommend to a friend to buy or listen to as a gate way.

For example really hard to not pick just for the amount of hits.

You know, some music really is just for a specific moment.

My taste changed. I have a song I ranked as the best Kpop song of all times, that I now have not listened to in years. I have not really had like full album re-listens. But I can imagine my taste will be different about them now than 10yrs ago for instance. I probably won't really end up disliking what I did like before, but it will lose that magical feeling as when songs are new.
