it's just... okay. Compared to Aespa's debut, this was a very tame song choice. I mean, I like it, but I wasn't exactly moving to the beat, either.

I love it. The tempo and arrangement are great. I also like how the top line (the melody) in the prechorus and chorus stay pretty constant but the background vocals and instrumentals underneath shift around. Reminds me of minimalist music. Lots of sophistication that is best appreciated with good headphones. This will be on repeat for me.

I just don't know how this will be received in South Korea given the public's preference for brighter and faster songs.

I like Butterflies more, but both songs sound like B sides to me. They're missing that SM vocal pop-off that is so characteristic of the company's title tracks.

Hard to see this blowing up.
