Intro Hello. New here but not new to kpop forums (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone, I go by gray. I've been an on and off k-pop fan for years, was pretty hardcore around 2015-2018. I used to be on akp back in the day, but I don't really feel like going back on there lol. I'm more of a casual kpop fan now, but I'm mainly here for the stray kids and nct content. I also listen to a lot of k-hiphop and like anime. Hope to meet a lot of cool people here.

Cowboy Bebop is definitely a great show.I just finished watching s1 of Blue Lock, s6 of My Hero Academia, and s1 of Revenger. I'm still watching s2 of Vinland Saga and s1 of Buddy Daddies since they're still going. I might try to finish hunter x hunter during the spring since none of the spring 2023 anime really catches my eye. I do have a list of shows I need to get to once I'm on break from school lol.

Your to be watched list is as bad as my to be read list! 🤣 It's hard having more than one time consuming hobby. How are you liking Blue Lock? I saw a tweet the other day that compares it to Squid Game and I do love a death game story.

I'm going to be totally honest about Blue Lock. After my friend peer pressured me into reading the manga, the pacing in the anime kinda sucks. There are a lot of moments that drag on that shouldn't drag on... but you know, suspense. There are a lot of intense moments, but probably not as intense as squid game. Overall, it's a pretty stereotypical sports anime. Maybe the squid game comparison comes from the fact their soccer careers are basically over if they're disqualified because to them, ball is life. However, there are a lot of great characters and moments.

Welcome to KS! I love me some NCT and Itzy as well, and while I don’t stan them Stay Kids are definitely well above average when it comes to how good their songs are imo. Who are your biases in Itzy and NCT(if you have one or have multiple)

Oh, good to know! That's not quite the part that would interest me, lol. I think I'll prioritize checking out Cowboy Bebop first.
