It's not intentional for me. I just happen to read more books from the female perspective.

Though most of the books form male perspectives I've read that I can remember are creepy.

Right, I get a tendency and something like that where you tend to read more of one than another. My confusion lies in why you would be categorically against reading any book with a male protagonist and shocked that people exist that read books from the male protagonists perspective.

I don't think Day is saying they don't read male protag books they just have the tendency towards female protags.

I was talking to harmony originally, her comment 100% sounds like she would never read a book with a male protagonist

It's just more surprising since it's the minority of books. I'm not being judgmental about the gender of a main character in a book and that's not a characteristic that stops me from reading something... it feels like I'm being cornered since I made a joke so let me clear it was a JOKE...

Harmony was shocked that chirps reads books with male protagonists sometimes. To me that means Harmony was implying they’d never read a book with a male protagonist. You responded to me saying you read primarily YA and primarily with females, so I explained why I didn’t think that was a reasonable explanation for harmony being shocked that someone would ever read a book with a male protagonist. I just refuted your points based on what Harmon was saying

I think this is just a mix up-either way though Day was being sarcastic as she normally is with me. We both read book that have male protags it's just rarer. No harm, no foul.
