Reality is rude? Would they get younger if nobody mention about their age?

Everything is rude just because ppl don't like it yet complaining about poor ppl and being nosy is ok

There are assumptions behind the question. Its like asking someone when they are due only to find out they aren't pregnant. That sort of thing never ends well.

That sucks... Similar to handing someone your id and them saying ... sorry sweetie we don't need that we can see you're over 21... Hasn't happened to me, but I've similar happen to others.

Oh, ouch. I guess it depends on how much older the person actually is too. If they’re not much older but somebody said that I’d probably cry.

When the response to the answer is disbelief there is an assumption that the person who asks the question has. And I'm not talking about formal situations where an employee has to inquire about one's age for medical or other similar reasons.

People aren't likely to complain for hours about such experiences, as they just find such questions distasteful. But you could use the same logic and say I should stay out of the kitchen because I cut my hand on broken glass and complained about it.. lol

I mean you have mentioned asking someone "how are you" in an introductory way. well, I don´t really understand why my age would matter to you?
If I say I´m 21 what does it make me to you? If I say I´m 15, will you think I´m naïve and rebellious hormonal teenager? What if I´m 40? Does it make me a tired mother of two kids who is barely struggling to pay off her mortgage?

Everyone is welcomed to ask my age if they have a good reason for it. Otherwise, it should not matter.

Honestly people dwell too much on age
Not to mention people are never satisfied

You say smbdy looks younger than they are, people feel weird
You say smbdy looks older than they are, people feel weird

like.... there is no textbook that says what 22 yearolds or 30 yearolds etc look like
You just can't tell how old somebody is by their looks, that's just how it IS

So I also don't understand why it's rude to ask. I wanna know how old you are, because looks are a horrible way to tell!
