I came out to my mother as bi while having a planned conversation with her. But with my father it was an accident. You see I was flirting with a girl (now my gf) in public but I didn’t realise my dad was watching Then afterwards he said it looked like I was about to start passing love letters to her

I never came out to my mom, I think my dad told her. For my dad it was in the middle of an argument about my grandma. I said I didn’t want to talk to her and said that she would disown me anyways when she found out I’m a lesbian. Not the greatest time to come out

I don't remember with my dad tbh. Maybe my mom told him. They're both pretty homophobic but they don't say bad stuff in front of me. My mom even bought a birthday present for my girlfriend at the time

i haven't i wanted to do it to my mom once but it ended a bit awkwardly because she did not quite catch what i was talking about. it is a bit funny how with all my behaviour she still thinks i'm straight. both her and my grandma often tell me that they're surprised i never had a boyfriend seeing how many of my younger neighbours already do (my grandma is extremely nosey, i don't keep up with my neighbours) but they think the main reason behind that is that i'm focused on myself to start dating (that is kinda true) so i just let them think that because to me it's not a big deal and i'm not planning to come out to anyone anytime soon.

I had to come out twice. The first time it was rejected as me being confused and the second time it was received like one would except a woman from the 1940s to react. I think referred to as fainting couch syndrome... But the annoyance of it all is "how do you know you're gay if you haven't had sex with a woman..." or "you're just doing it because its trendy..." or "Your so deadpan and masculine for a gay guy..."

If my grandpa, my conservative catholic grandpa, was alive it wouldn't have been good.. probably a similar situation as @Vikki ...

yes i am but it looks like i'm pulling off the straight cosplay better than i thought since no one can tell it doesn't bother me, sooner or later people around me will probably find out about it but it's not a big deal if they don't

I haven’t. My family is religious and mostly russian so I always heard a ton of awful comments here and there. I also am not sure if they would get pansexuality so I just am ag the point where I feel like coming out wouldn’t be the best option. I might say tho that my brother would be super understanding and he gets me like no one else. I also do have some gay stuff lying around and keep saying how much I love certain lgbtq movied/shows and they know I love Drag but so far they don’t seem to think much of that

I tried coming out to my mom once a few years back but she didn't really reacted too well with it and just tried to confront me with stereotypes like "All Gays are HIV positive" and such, she did come to me a few minutes after I went to my room and said she'll love me no matter what but we have never ever again spoken about it or it hasn't come up in any talks AT ALL, dead silence about the topic.
