dont use ice water it will worsen it. the water needs to be body temperature.
do that at least for 20min.
cover the wound with a loose sterile bandage, you can use an ointment for burns
dont open blisters of there are any
if it gets worse, go to a doctor

To make sure, are you saying you put the finger directly on the ice? If so, that’s not recommended (for any body part), generally when icing injuries it’s recommended that there’s some kind of a barrier, like a towel or plastic bag. Otherwise you do run the risk of potential frostbite.
ye but it's ice on paper on table and I put my finger on that. if it gets too cold I can just lift off for a sec.

If you never let your finger go numb at all maybe, if your finger ever does feel numb you may not know if it’s too cold. I don’t think it’s particularly likely to happen anyways but just wanted to share if it’s not something you had heard before, since my doctors have always stressed this point.
