How do you cook plain rice? (1 Viewer)

Just regular rice. Nothing fancy.
What type do you use, what method, salt or no salt?

My home, we boiled basmati in salted water and drained or steamed jasmine in a pressure cooker.​

1 cup water (or 1 1/2 cups) to 1 cup of rice with a little bit salt and into the rice cooker because I am more confident with that than a stove

take some cups of rice
Wash it once
drain it
fill with fresh water (drinkable) up to 1 inch above the rice
put on stove
mix it once the water has reduced to just a few bubbls
put a lid on
and dont forget to turn off the stove at the right moment cuz for me its always 50/50 chance, its either burnt or wettish at the bottom
