How do you get into a group you’ve known about but never stanned until later on? (1 Viewer)

Does the question make sense? Like seventeen have been around a long time now and I’ve heard their songs but I never thought of actually getting into them. Some of them are even close with my ults, Monsta X.
And then I watched going seventeen and the world changed. My love for their music intensified. I wholeheartedly stan o.o

Does a fancam catch your eye? Is it a particular song?​

Sorry to any OT9 Stay in here, but I didn’t like Woojin’s voice in Stray Kids’ songs. His voice is good, but it threw me off a lot when I went through album listens. When he left, released new music and then re-recorded their old songs, they came slowly back onto my radar. Then Kingdom happened, fell for them completely and then NoEasy just sealed it.

I got into a lot of groups after knowing them for a while, it takes me on average 2 years to stan a lot of groups with some exceptions

I'd check out their music, and if that's good then I'll get to know the members. I don't think that's ever happened to me though.

Music is what primarily draws me towards a group; but I need to know the members in order to stan. So I follow them on social media. It's not guaranteed I'll stan; but more likely.

Typically i take a long time.
For example aside from IZ*ONE i am not all in on any other 4th gen .. still deciding.
