How many years of being a fan until you are no longer a new fan?

I got into kpop in 2015. Would you classify me as noob or vet?

I'd say maybe middling? But I can see really old fans calling you a noob lol. But i've been a fan for 10-11 years now so to me its just in the middle

It seems like it I know. But I instantly identified more with second gen and that became by far my favorite period.

Yeah. I always thought that you got into kpop around the same time as I did lol

I do miss the golden generation of kpop...... (SNSD, f(x), KARA, After School, 4Minute, T-ARA etc)

I've been in kpop since 2007.

I consider myself a veteran.

Though to be honest I really didn't pay as much attention to the greater kpop world beyond SNSD until around 2014 or so.

So maybe that makes me middling.

Also it does sort of depend on ones level of immersion.

It's weird for me. I started listening to kpop 2014/15 but didn't actually take it seriously until I joined akp in '18

2010 for me. And i was all in very very fast.

Still bitter that i could not find a way to get to NYc for the 2011 fan sign... My only real shot to see ot 9.
Well i guess teh google concert but that was a mess.

If groups that debuted around the time you got into kpop are disbanding/have disbanded due to the contract running out or are considered seniors in the industry you're a veteran.

I'd say you're at the middle rn, not a veteran, but not a noob. Kinda how like SVT & Gfriend aren't rookies or seniors
