How stressed do you get usually? (1 Viewer)

I usually get pretty stressed in my day to day life, especially when i focus on school. However, today I woke up, and I felt so much pain in my sternum? ribcage area? because of the recent power outage I went through. I wasn't able to extend my schoolwork deadline, so now I only have B's in classes and I've never had a B for a year in my life. I've been so anxious about school yesterday, my chest started hurting, and it didn't go away until this afternoon. I've had quite a bit of stress in my life, but never so much it made my chest hurt until just now.

So I wonder how stressed one gets usually?

I am very type A, I get stressed quite easily. I hope this summer break will help me calm down, because I get more stressed during school.

Usually never, which is not always a good thing like it sounds, coz I tend to coast and not take things seriously until the last minute, and then the final work isn't as good as it could've been had I been serious from the start
It's the eternal vicious cycle my life has been stuck in for years now

haha yeah, i as that way when i was younger. I'd relax until like, 5 days before the deadline and then become like a tornado doing everything in one go

I get real stressed over small things like really stressed its like if I came downstairs to make some ramen and my favourite pot is dirty in the sink cuz the last person didnt wash it and every surface of the kitchen is messy cuz people cant for some reason walk 3 meters to reach the bin or put their dishes in the dishwasher etc I suddenly feel like my life has ended kek

Maybe an overreaction but its like I come down to do this one simple thing and ive suddenly got all these obstacles before i can do it and idek where to start and all of these obstacles could have been sorted before they became problems just from other people in the house contributing in very simple ways i.e. USING THE BIN, PUTTING THEIR SHIT IN THE DISHWASHER, AND, GOD FORBID, WASHING THE STUFF THEY USE THAT DONT FIT IN THERE

It depends, I have a lot of other problems that play into it and I definitely don't exhibit it in a normal or even remotely healthy way. I've gotten somewhat better but it depends on what the stressor is

No, i totally feel you. My roommate and i recently got another roommate and oh my god they're so messy i come down to put a bowl in the dishwasher and ugh when I see the roommate left their bowls in the sink to soak and then promptly forgot, i just get sooooo anxious like what am i supposed to do. if i don't put them in the dishwasher for them it may seem rude but i don't want to deal with this person too ughdjkdf

Yeah, i guess it would depend on the stressor too. Somethings are more stressful than other things.
