Any group I get into nowadays doesn't last long enough for me to be interested in checking out their content enough to stan and now I am down to just Mamamoo and Oh My Girl with Oh My Girls contract negotiations still to go ​

The groups I ended up stanning stood out to me naturally like I got into Loonas pre-debut just from their music videos however nothing has captivated me to the same level as that since then

i mean, just constantly do it, maybe something that hadn't stood out before stands out now. like, before I got into got7 i only really liked yugyeoms face but I didn't care for them but then I somehow ended up ulting them

I usually do keep up with girl group releases especially if I have interest in the girl group but there's always one comeback that I don't have any interest in listening to again

well maybe you should take a little break then? like you can still like kpop but don't have a specific group you like- there was a time I was in kinda libo of that, I liked plenty groups but not enough to get to know them so it was relaxing

I'll probably end up doing that eventually whether by choice or it just sort of happening one day but I also could see myself just ending up as a casual fan when all my current faves disband

for sure, there's no harm in not having a specific group u like

i mean i do it quite easily bc it has to do with personality 60% and music 40% so as long as i like the members a lot, i will probably stan them.
i just watch a lot of variety content and i try to listen to everyone's albums eventually especially if the title track is good

Maybe try checking out underrated groups? I always start with listening to some songs of that group and if I like them I'll check out other content of that group

Maybe save urself the heartbreak n wrap ur heart up in a steel-cloth covered cage so it nvr has to face future pain n suffering. You could consider urself lucky tat EXID n Mamamoo arent facing disbandment yet in the near future, (talking only of MMM here:) maybe they'll end up as directors/shareholders in part of RBW considering how much they contributed to the company(i hope the biggest female solo idol n 7 biggest bg idol members hv shares/part ownership in their respective agencies/companies too).

Or just cut open ur heart now n see if any group/artist catches ur fancy n follow ur heart tat way. Its ur choice to endure watever comes ur way either way. Good luck with tat.

I've just started stanning Jeong Sewoon. He's been around a few years already, but I never really noticed him enough, but now I really love his songs.
My tip isn't to just go for newbies or force yourself to look at an artist, just bide your time until somebody catches your eye in some way.
