It seemed HYBE sent out "questionnaires" for MHJ to answer twice in April, and in one of them she brought up the idea that HYBE was fraudulently pushing first week album sales and that they offered to do the same for Get Up.
HYBE responded to all of her concerns (not just those), on April 22nd, and the entire email is included.

They do actually acknowledge that a "push" was talked about, but it was informal and apparently would never have been carried out, which is kind of funny. But also we get some solid numbers for HYBE's overshipment in 2023, the number of albums Ador wanted to produce for Get Up, and the number of Get Up copies still in inventory. Results may surprise!
The downturn in album sales is real. But also, it seems that HYBE renegotiated distributer contracts to make shipbacks harder. There's an obvious consequence to this, which is that if you foist a bunch of unsellable albums onto a distro or retailer, they won't order so many next time around. I think we're already seeing this play out in the industry - when was the last time an agency put out the pre-order mediaplay?

neither MHJ nor NJ/parents could afford it...

NJ is one of if not the top GG right now - no sane company would let them go for anything less than a king's ransom

Both MHJ and Hybe have said some interesting stuff as well as some crazy stuff - who knows what a court will decide and ultimately I couldn't give two shits about either MHJ or Hybe or ADOR or BSH or any of those in power I just hope that NJ is doing something to protect themselves - lawyer up - speak to a therapist since I can't imagine all this nonsense is doing wonders for their mental health

Police to question Hybe officials over complaint against sublabel executives

SEOUL, May 20 (Yonhap) -- Police will question officials of Hybe, the country's largest K-pop company, this week over a complaint it filed against its sublabel ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin on charges of attempting to take over the company that manages popular girl group NewJeans, Seoul's police chief said Monday.

Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Commissioner Cho Ji-ho made the remark during a regular press briefing, saying that Hybe officials have expressed a willingness to appear for questioning after last week's injunction court hearing.

"We will call them in for questioning this week," Cho said. "After that, the necessary procedures will go ahead in a speedy manner."

Last month, Hybe filed a complaint against Min on charges of breach of trust, claiming it has secured evidence supporting its claim that the management plotted to seize control of the label under Min's initiative.

However, Min has denied the allegations, saying it is impossible to seize control of the company under the current shareholder structure.

that is possible but I'm pretty sure they were made aware of the contents beforehand
I think Hybe being a prudent company would have shown the members the information to sway them in hybe's favour
