I feel like I’ve been really neglecting my friendships on here because of how often I disappear and randomly reappear. I’ve always been pretty bad with keeping up with people ever since I could remember tbh. I really just don’t want anyone to think that it’s me just not wanting to be friends anymore. I genuinely love KPS so much and the friends I have here.

To just get right to the point, during my first initial hiatus this year I also took almost a complete break from social media in general. I found out with that break that social media was causing a lot of stress and anxiety which I was completely unaware of because I never felt like it did for me. Knowing that it does have such a negative impact on me I pretty much just do a quick scroll and get offline asap. It’s also not something I gravitate towards now. So I really am sorry for not talking or being as active as I used to. I will try to pop in more to say hello, fangirl and hunt for cards with you all.

I would definitely recommend it just to see if it does help relieve any stress. It’s also just really nice to not be so overwhelmed by multiple things which I feel like is what happens with me.
I’ve finally gotten out of my reading slump! Idk if you’re into true stories but Society of The Snow is really great (there’s a movie with the same name as well). The Shadows by Alex North I really liked as well. Ooh also Gorgeous Gruesome Faces by Linda Cheng was a fun read. Both are horror.

Social media hiatus actually helps a lot, I did it a few times before and it was good to me.

And what you wrote is so like me, I'm so bad with keeping up with people, here, too.
It's partly because I have no time and energy, but yeah, I just realized that social media - or we can say internet as a whole - drains me.
I surely prefer face to face interactions more, the offline world.
But I often feel sorry towards the people who I really like here cuz I know it seems like I don't care enough, I don't put enough energy into the interactions.
