It seems that I'll never get used to that. Maybe because I'm from a generation where internet communities were much smaller and you felt more like part of a family. Especially in local forums there were even summer barbecues where we came together in real life. But it seems that those days are long gone. I hate feeling old.

The sad thing is that you'll probably never see most people here personally. And that's a pity, because there are quite a few very interesting personalities here. @Yachii, you too!

I think you get used to people and you grow fond and care for them. The internet opens us up to relationships that could never exist with out it. It only makes sense that we all find friends here.

And maybe it makes even more sense that we find friends that will stay in contact, even when they got caught by real life or after they changed interests - because we can contact them personally. But that's something I underestimated too in the past. Nope, I'm not the person that should talk about social behavior.

People come and people go in internet life. That's pretty common nowadays. KPS was the last forum I joined. I already thought about withdrawing from internet communities before and I'm rather sure that I'd be already inactive in this regard. But then came Dreamcatcher, then came @Myth. Oh by the way, sorry for catching too late who changed his nickname there. I should change my nickname again too. 'Mr. Slowpoke' would fit perfectly...

I remember @Naru ! We had a lot in common, and we even did face AND voice reveals for each other. Ofc now I've got @seoriverse @Moguri @ningholic @Jewel @Yerichu and more, but I still miss her.

But yeah, Rand is right - people just come and go. Maybe life got in the way? Or maybe they just grew out of K-pop/KPS? The latter is the case with me and this forum for name lovers. I was on there for years and years, but then I eventually stopped going there bc I grew out of my "name enthusiast" era and into my "K-pop stan" era. There's more to it, but I don't want to derail the conversation or get a WP for talking bad about another forum.

This honestly reminds me of when i used discord, i was close with many people on there and i just grew out of it and life also got in the way, even if i wanted to go back, i cant seem to remember my password. I was able to get in contact with them another way and they told me how much they pinged me, waiting for my return.
