The red side isn't the "cute" side per se, but it is the bolder and more lively side. The velvet side is more mature and elegant. I love Russian Roulette and Zimzalabim as well. Bad Boy and Psycho aren't my favorites, actually, but they're good.

Velvet side is the sultry, R&B side. Mature, dark, sexy. It's not as experimental as the red side, you can basically expect what you're going to get. The red side is more unpredictable.

just answering that myself.

there are a ton of red velvet songs that don’t fall in line with one side completely and are rather a mix.

I personally view purely Red as in Red Flavor. Purely Velvet Bad Boy/ Automatic and something like Zimzalabim and Perk A Boo more as a mix.

Definitely. Happiness, Ice Cream Cake, Russian Roulette, Dumb Dumb, Red Flavor, Power Up, Umpah Umpah red sides.
