I have my driver's test in an hour (1 Viewer)

And I'm very confident I'll pass but I don't even know how to drive

Like I honestly feel like I might be a hazard to society when I'm on the road and although my family members all fear for their lives when I'm driving, I still feel pretty confident that I'll pass. Like I feel like I'm a good driver even though I don't know the rules and hardly know how to drive. I think there's something wrong with my brain LOL. Luckily I made my appointment for the morning though because my brain stops in the evening so that would have been an instant fail. At least now I can pretend I know how to drive since I'll be conscious of everything I'm doing and remember all the criticisms from my brother and mum.

Honestly though, even though I'm confident I'll pass I won't be sad if I fail. I'm seriously just going to socialise with a stranger. It's been a while since I have spoken to an outsider so I want to just go and have a good time with a stranger. So it's a win win situation either way lol.

Wish me luck anyway though? I just hope that I don't show my true colours in the test...

I guess I'll let you all know how it went if I'm still alive by the end of it

in fact you get extra credit for every person that breaks the law during your test

I just never wanted to drive until now. Corona made me weary of strangers. Also it takes like 4 hours to get to uni and back on public transport so I decided I may as well just get it now since it'll save me like 3 hours a day...

UPDATE: I FAILED

This is officially the first failure of my life and weirdly I'm not upset at all. Like I'm really happy and I had a real good laugh about it with my family.

Reason for failing: I went 15km over the speed limit If you go over 5km the speed limit for over 3 seconds then it's an instant fail here and I went by 55km on a 40km road. I thought it was a 60km road... In my defence, it was a school zone and in school zones, you only go by 40km if it's school hours. And it's school holidays here so how was I supposed to know that I'm supposed to go by 40?? Apparently if you see a speed sign and it doesn't have hours next to it, then it means it's permanently that limit...

I wasn't kidding when I said I don't know the road rules


Aside from that, I thought I made a lot of mistakes but apparently I didn't. Her only feedback was that I should use my mirrors more but that wouldn't have made me fail. I even did parking perfect and I literally don't even know how to park. I guess I can do anything under pressure. it was also an empty carpark but anywho.

My next test is next Friday so I just need to be more conscious of the speed limits. The only issue is that it's at 2:45pm and that's the time I start becoming super tired. I'm just hoping the roads are empty because I'm bound to fail if there are cars around. I just hope I don't fail again because my uni starts the week after next. But considering I learnt as much as I did in 1 week, I think by next Friday I'll be pro level driver. I'm confident I'll pass this time.

speed limits seem to be an easier thing to control next time so i hope it goes well! i'm glad that you didn't make other mistakes, some of them are hard to unlearn
