Oooh we joined around the same time. I can't even remember what my dp was when I first joined but it wasn't K-Pop related. I think it was a cartoon image of a cute bear. I kept it for like 6 months before I changed it to a baby Kyungsoo photo and I ended up keeping that for over a year. I'm surprised I didn't get bored of it because now I change DPs every few days. 🤣

Omg true! Back then we use to keep our dps for so long. I don't think I changed my dp until the leaked Jessica version of CMIYC came out so that was like a whole year with that dp. It was our identity

I was kinda the same as you about here initially, @JungYoda told me about it and I shrugged it off not giving it much though. Being on here for a few days though felt way different to being on AKP and that's when @JungkooksWife goodbye thread made me realise that the environment there made me more aggressive.

I started on AKP just joking around with Coupon in various threads and just talking about things without being extremely argumentative. By the end though I was basically just arguing with people and overall how I conducted myself was more negative than how I was initially.

I have no intention of being like that again and anyone who I did argue with on AKP I apologise.

I kinda feel as tho we all subconsciously copy or follow those around us. Whether or not you realize you will just become like the people you didnt like initially if you hang around them long enough.

My forum career started just last month lol, it’s fun reading all these anecdotes.

I initially followed @KwonSoonYoung and @Jiminish from AKP here, but I’ve met other lovely people and I wanna keep things fun <3

I don’t mind bashing weirdly.... even if it’s my ults, and I’ve actually spent time reading shit on K-netizen boards and a BTS anti thread before (which I dug up). I don’t think I get that triggered easily, unless it’s a direct personal attack.

Glad you like it here, I do too really, hopefully you’ll tolerate my stupid ass posts and childish humor I don’t have many kpop fans around me irl that can I can share things with :/

I also agree that it feels safer here, AKP was a war zone, I still visit for the drama and 18+ threads though :P

The environment here is so nice and welcoming. Here we’re doing our best to keep things positive and we don’t want this place to into a toxic environment. The atmosphere here definitely different from what you were used to, but I’m really glad that you enjoy over here.
