But I’m not participating anyways obviously so i figured I would ask now
Does anyone feel like the 6th book of the Harry Potter series was really boring compared to the others? It was actionless until the end, and interestingless especially with a reread. Harry was too obsessed about Draco even if he was right about him. And overall I struggled to get through this book (I reread all the books in preparation for the event). And none of the other books were as tedious as the Half Blood Prince.

hmmm but i just never have the correct timing for the events . the one time i tried bad stuff happened..

6 was annoying for so many reasons.

I disagree with the Draco focus Harry Knew he was up to something bad. and the rest would not believe it just cuz he was a kid....like did they not notice that they had done a boatload of stuff and they were just kids.
Dumbledore knew he was right but he was busy manipulating Harry. Overall pretty much failing in his duty to protect the kids in his own personal obsession. I think 6 versions of Dumbledore was so bad as she was really tired of teh actor who just sucked.

BTW just how stupid do ya have to be to put on that ring.....

there was alot of meta stuff going on and info dump is rarely fun and not her strength.

I’m pretty sure I stopped reading the books halfway through order of the phoenix because I was so bored tbh So idk if I’m the best to ask. But I liked the movie lol

Read them all for the first time this year, and now looking back I don't really remember enjoying much from that book. I would've been fine with getting the Riddle backstory in only one chapter. Books 5 and 6 were a pain to get through.

Both of them only had a good ending tbh, and the 6th books end was not as interesting as the 5ths.
