trending is the only way to keep the bills paid now

Kpop always followed every trend, the trends were just different in 2019
People will say how much they miss Kpop 2026 in a few years bc nostalgia is strange

I understand that but the trend wasn't just to trend, they also made high quality music
The only thing that's popular now is to make short trendy songs for kpop, or copy off of something else, sometimes both lol

I was certainly more invested in the music of 2019 with IZ*ONE and going to fan signs ect.

Its hard now to not think almost everything pre covid was better.

this 1000%
at least back then they valued making proper length songs, now its shorter songs to make them more likely to be looped faster
what makes a song? quality??? a high streaming count obviously /s !!!!!!!

[Selfmate]

well I got into kpop in 2019 so I guess I would agree with the OP's sentiment
