This is hoemantic, hoeforjuyeon, etc I changed my username and I haven't been active on here for quite a while.
I'm been out of kpop since mid October 2022 and I need an update on what I missed music wise. Please help me out lol

also random but I've been getting into red velvet a lot more lately​

I rlly liked 8TURN, TNX, and Tri.be (bsides more than title for tri.be tho) this year

Ah since you said since October, I really liked nct dream’s winter comeback as well!

Ateez halazia (but you might have heard since you’re an atiny)
Dreamcatcher vision (you also like dreamcatcher iirc so also might’ve heard or might not have since you were out of kpop)
Victon virus
And this bside from txt (did not like the comeback, but this bside which I think is full English is the kinda angsty western music I listen to)

Since Oct. 22?

I really liked:

- Le Sserafim - Antifragile


- Ten - Birthday (his latest solo single)


- RM - Indigo album, which was wonderful (and I am not a BTS fan!)


- the excellent WayV comeback album (definitely check out the MV, which is beautiful)


- SM Winter album is a mixed bag, like always but I'm still listening to these two in March.




- StayC Poppy in Japanese or Korean, I don't care. POPPY POPPY LOVE LOVE


You already covered XG and NewJeans, which i liked.
I don't think Key's repack songs added much to the album personally, but I do think the repack songs did on the 127 album - DJ, Skyscraper and Ay-Yo are great.


There was a GOT the Beat EP but I think it's pretty weak. There was an Astro Moonbin & Sanha, which was a bit mixed and I like them.

I'm not a TXT fan but I really liked several songs on their album.

Oh my god I really like Left Right by XG. I love the 90's/early 2000's vibe groups are going with lately, I live for it. New Jeans does it well too!

Yess I have! I'm excited, I can't wait to hear Jisoo's beautiful voice.

I loved TBZ comeback, mainly the title track. It gave me that feeling The Stealer did back in 2020 and I'm happy. I love their previous comebacks but it wasn't as good as The Stealer because I can't move on from that era lol

I feel that. I'm not sure if Roar is a favorite of mine, but I did definitely enjoy it more than their last one. I don't think tbz really releases anything I dislike tho tbh xp

For sure I feel that! y2k is definitely the trend rn, but i don't mind. The fashion and songs inspired by it are mostly great :D

I liked New Jeans, Purple Kiss, Onewe, Key, NCT and Monsta X. Sorry P1harmony
My faves were new jeans and monsta x, I got hooked right away!

Those are great choices! Monsta X is one of my ults right now, so like, yeah ofc I'll love it, but New Jeans quality has been so so so consistently good. They definitely bring something unique to the table :D
