Dry milk comes in bags, or boxes, in the US

Is it different than evaporated milk? I don’t really know what evaporated milk is like I just know of it’s existence

In my country it's packaged like this

I've never heard of evaporated milk At this point there must be condensed and precipitated milk too (lol water cycle joke)

I`m not saying this because I`m vegan, but milk in plastic bags is kinda disgusting, considering the bags probably have softeners in the plastic and those usually go into the food and are not healthy at all.

In france it's in bottle, and i know that a lot of english speaker often get surprised when they come buy milk in France
because from what i heard in America you buy milk in refrigerator
while in France they are just on the shelf

i buy the same bags. i don't use milk often, pretty much exclusively for cooking/baking. so if i buy them, i just keep one bag and give the other 2 to my parents. they do have cartons if i really don't wanna buy that much (or glass jars if i want to get those organic ones), but the bags are the most cost effective and last longer bc they're portioned and sealed.
