dedicated time and money for their other artists like they do with (G)-idle. Don't get me wrong, (G)-idle is a subpar group. But it makes me sad thinking about other groups under them not getting any promotions and lacking with music productions. I'll forever be salty about PENTAGON. Those boys deserved better than a 'one-hit-single'. Hui who is the leader and senior artist participating in Boys Planet was just ridiculous to me. If Cube did them right, he wouldn't have to be in that position. I just feel incredibly sad for PENTAGON. When the potential is there, yet neglected. *sighs*

CLC had nothing they just kept tinkering hoping something would work heck Soyeon wrote the only song that won if i remember right.
idle was not working until Soyeon started doing it all herself.
lightsum is wasting away they were banking on pd 48 anger pushing Chowon but... no one cares. Although they still outsold clc.

The fact that Apink got away from em(Acube) probably saved them.

This goes for any artist tbh but people seem to forget about this.
If an idol/group writes their own music, of course they don't have to depend on another producer. They don't have to sit around.
It's only fair that a group/idol writing their own music get to have more comebacks than a group doesn't.
CUBE only needs to greenlight the song and probs think of a concept for the MV (tho I think the members do that too already). Soyeon basically gives them easy money by doing like 60% of the work...

Pretty upsetting, although I'm sure most idols care more about doing what they love and caring for their fans rather than materialistic things. I can't imagine being in their shoes everyday due to the amount of pressure they go through.

Yup! And as she should!
I think that's why you'll see the self-writing/producing idols from a group have more/faster solo comebacks too (that or just favoritism or both)
e.g. Taeyong debuted solo 6 months or so ago and he's coming back soon.
People call it favoritism, but I also think that the fact that he wrote the songs on his album himself (and his enlistment soon)

Right? I read online that it said that half the members didn't renew their contracts with Cube, yet the group hasn't officially disbanded? Nah. They all should just leave and start fresh elsewhere. Then again, some members are faced with completing their military service first. I just hope whatever they each decide to do, they are happy and content with themselves. Still infuriates me to this day that they dismissed Dawn and Hyuna for dating each other. It's nearly impossible for idols to have a life outside of work. Sacrificing so much and gaining nothing in return from their companies. DO BETTER KOREA!

😭 the most recent comeback promotions came directly out of GI-DLE's pockets. but I agree, they have never taken care of their artists. They let BTOB fall hard.

Yes they do, they often sacrifice decisions so the fans can get the content.
