i think that their music is a bit polarizing tbh so only if they were under SM they would be successful like they are now
if they were under another company they would struggle to get recognition especially in Korea because i think their music is not public audience friendly

That would require no EXO, NCT or Shinee ever existing so there'd be a big void for a top SM boygroup and with SuperM's lineup they'd shoot straight up to the top without too many antis which they have to deal with now.
