I heard Japan is not very interested in appealing to International audiences? that they already havea good enough audience in japan so why bother about international appeal? Atleast thats what I got when I was asking why the heck Doraemon is SO POPULAR and I cant find it in one place translated properly in english

Most Japanese don't care about English subtitles so why should J-Pop companies spend time and money for such 'extras'? Or if the artists can't speak English, who should translate their lyrics? Of course, they could use AI - but many J-Pop artists probably think international Pop fans only listen to XG and Babymetal anyway?

Its not the japanese who care, its the poor international fans, being shown amazing stuff they wont get to enjoy and understandits like dangling candy in front of us and taking it away!

Yes, I try to be very selective about the groups I follow because it really does take a lot of my time, I set aside a few hours before bed every night just to keep up with everything but that's something I would do anyway because it helps me wind down so I can sleep.

I don't follow every group to the same extent though, there's just Twice, Itzy and Nmixx that I will watch exactly everything from down all the way to obscure advertisements and then there's another category of idols where I will watch most things but I might skim a few videos when I'm short on time or if the topic really doesn't interest me. Lastly there's a category of groups I'm interested in which I follow on YouTube/Instagram but since I don't have time for more deep diving I will only watch the occasional stand-out content and clips.

Some members like to do really long live streams and on those days I might only have time to watch that in a day but those are my favorites because it lets you see the human behind the idol a lot more, imo it's much more interesting than promotional content.

(Obviously none of these groups have 10+ members but since there are more than 10 people in total and 9 in Twice i'll throw my cents in)
