I do not get into these discussions about cultural appropriation of other cultures, cause i might not know all the facts.

I do believe they are young and can learn from this, also yeah the staff knew what they were doing when writing Curry there. I mean i dont know many songs with curry besides them. And i personally didnt know it was harmful to other ppl until i saw that the singer apologized.

You missed several points. the first is that those cards where probably written by an intern/low person in the company who probably had little more than a HS education. South Korea (where StayC, Sieun, and Sumin are from AND Japan (where it happened) are Homogeneous countries. They aren't used to, and are still learning to take other cultures in to consideration.

I've never heard of the "Curry" song. I still haven't listened to it and probably never will because I have other things to do.

That person(the one who made the card), Sieun and Sumin probably had no idea and probably still don't know it was offensive.

The most offensive thing I'm going to say all day! If you are offended or become offended it is entirely 100% your fault for giving someone else the power to do so. One of my favorite quotes and I take it to heart. I heard it in the Princess Diaries (it's a movie packed full of meaningful life lessons!)

this argument is invalid since that song is sung by a korean artist and even they agree that it is offensive. many other (also korean) idols have sung it with a negative response and apologised for it. and if they genuinely didn't know because "they're still learning" then they should at least acknowledge that they did wrong and apologise so they can continue to learn instead of living in ignorance hoping that some fans who are not even a part of the culture they offended will pointlessly defend them every time.
