I saw some people claiming that back then some vegetarians ate meat because realistically it was difficult to have a fully meat free diet. But even then it feels to me like you still can’t call yourself a vegetarian if you choose to have the meat rather than it being forced on you because of shortages or whatever. Could just be plain old propaganda though.

He did go to art school or rather didn’t get in

well kind and considerate is a stretch but 1 dimensional evil he was not

Strictly speaking Hitler wasn't a Vegetarian. He just preferred meals based on vegetables and fruits.

Sure, he seemed to like non human animals well enough, the nazis supposedly passed various legislation for the protection of animals. And others did say that he treated them well (obviously they weren’t Jews, people of color, gay men, “communists”/Russians, and the list goes on). He’s just probably one of the most evil people in modern history overall so he gets the evil dude sticker, which is accurate enough tbh.

idk how true it is but there was also a rumor hitler’s mom was Jewish so he was half Jewish but just hid it

when I was 9 I read a historical fiction book about Hitler. In it he was half Jewish, his mom was Jewish, and he hid that and he also had a child born with a pink birthmark across his face so he only acted as his father in private never in public, the child wasn’t allowed to call him “papa” in public, and was “hidden” too, but hitler was soft towards him in private, gave him gifts and stuff, but only towards his other children in public. He was keeping up appearances. Since his goal was to create a “perfect race” (misguided and everything as was)

at one point, the son accidentally called him “papa” in public and hitler got mad idr what happened after that

don’t ask me why I read it, I used to read historical fiction all the time and it was in my fourth grade classroom bookshelf I read almost all the books there

There’s no history on Hitlers grandfather but from what I read there also not great proof that Hitler had Jewish blood, let alone that he could have known about it. And the sources seem eh, for example taking the word of a guy who’s story can at least partially be proved false or the fact that there might be a genetic marker that could possibly mean he was Jewish but also possibly not, stuff like that. So I don’t set much in store about those theories personally. As to his mother this is the first I’m hearing about her being any part Jewish.
