I’m really glad whaling is illegal in Oklahoma (1 Viewer)

Think of all the whales that are saved! And as you can see they have a lot of places to catch whales so I glad they’re being protected

Also I think their choice of a watermelon as the state vegetable is great. It’s really unique. I think few other states would even consider that as a option

I know the whaling thing isn’t fully accurate but I’m going with it because others do

So even though people market it as “whaling is illegal” it’s not actually that, the law is protecting endangered (and I think protected?) species. Most whales fall under that category. So yes, it is illegal to hunt most whale species found on earth in Oklahoma, but it doesn’t seem like a specific law just for whales. But it makes a funny story if you ignore that
