I don’t bring up much of my personal life on here because I hate to bother people with the problems of my life, but I need to vent.

I’ve made a few comments about my mom’s husband and how he and I don’t get along and that I do everything I can to avoid him. I’m not rude to him at all, I know avoiding him might seem rude to some but it’s either that or I have to deal with a stressful situation like I did today (I’ll get to that soon).
Why do we not get along? So many reasons
He’s done some things that I won’t get into detail with, but that entire fiasco (Happened about 9 years ago I think) completely opened up my eyes about what kind of person he is and because of the things that my mom and I went through because of the situation I haven’t cared enough to keep a good relationship with him. He’s the same person as he was 9 years ago, if he tried to work on himself and put in the effort, sure I’d consider it but the longer he continues to be a very unpleasant person, I don’t want anything to do with him. Hopefully you all see where I’m coming from.
Some other things he’s done is make racist remarks about Hispanics (I’m half Hispanic)
Any time I (or my mom) ask him to do something like take out the trash or even just making conversation, if we say it in a wrong way to him he’ll get extremely angry.
Last year when I had to euthanize my cat who’s like my child he pretended nothing happened and expected my mom and I to not be grieving her loss. A few months later my bird died and he thought I was overreacting because I was crying over losing a parakeet.
I know I didn’t have to list all of that, but I just wanted you all to try to understand my pov.
So, what happened today? I was out in the living room, my mom had asked him to give our dogs water outside because their water had frozen. He came inside with their bowl and one of the chickens water bowls that had also frozen. I asked him if he could put it back outside because it’s gross and I didn’t want him filling it up in our sink. And because he’s the most mature 50 year old dude he storms out of the house, throws the bowl outside and starts slamming doors, throwing more things around. This is what happens 80% of the time I talk to him…
But then 10 minutes after this outburst, he acts as if nothing happened and expects my mom and I to do the same, but also making it clear that in his eyes I was in the wrong for asking him to put a gross chicken bowl back outside.

I had to leave the house for a few hours to compose myself because I couldn’t stop crying because I was so frustrated by the fact that I can’t get out of this living situation. I’m unable to move out for multiple reasons so I really can’t do anything. I’m completely stuck in a mentally exhausting situation and it feels incredibly unfair.
Rant over, I shall bring you lighter threads hopefully tomorrow
