fun fact A fan once asked Vernon about the meaning of this song at a fm, that was about the lack of "female presence" in the song, even though it has many romantic lines. Vernon answered her in a note, he wrote "thank you for realizing it" ("it" being the fact that the romance in the song doesn't necessarily apply to just hetero couples).

will add that rocket was one of the most, if not the no 1 most (idr sorry) songs requested in seoul pride 2021! mingyu and wonwoo have said similar things about the mv for bittersweet: they have said that it does not apply to one specific kind of love, and that it is open to interpretation.
