It would make sense. K-Pop has always been heavily influenced by American music. but in a tamer manner. Given the nature of k-pop and korean culture it wouldn't make sense for a rapper in a group to have content based on selling drugs and sex like much of rap is in the United States. But still I agree if its sung in Korean and the artist is from a Korean agency, then it is K-Pop. I mean as early as Highlight, they had American dancers shipped over to help train idols.

I think I like every generations equally but I really enjoy 4th gen so far.

i wouldn't say topping other generations but it is the generation that got me back into kpop, i was falling off a bit during the end of the 3rd gen but 4th gen slapped me in the face and said pay attention you hoe

I prefer 3rd gen because that's when I got into K-pop. I like a few 4th gen groups but it takes longer for me to get into them.

While many of the bg that have debuted in this gen are gold... I can't say the same for the gg. Even some late 3rd gen gg weren't hitting the same stride as 2nd and mid 3rd gen were.

I will say that for me only ateez and txt right now are matching up to my standard of eye catching kpop groups but I'm struggling to get into their personalities and I am still working hard in recognising their members lmao. for me 3rd and 2nd gen are still top dog

not at all, second and third win for me
first is better as well, fourth is the least interesting to me
