Two years ago the whole world protested against police brutality and called for defunding. Fast forward to today people have forgotten why police aren't your friends. In Joy's new drama she plays a 'tough' cop who is also 'beautiful'. This show is in Netflix and will be watched by people around the world. Doesn't it seem problematic for Joy to be contributing to propagandizing the image of cops? As a global idol she could have chosen other roles, for example, doctor.

People HAVE been offended from *too kindly* portrayals of cops in media. Including from a Korean video game character. I personally experienced racial profiling from the POE-LI-CE who prevented me from going to a museum because of my Middle Eastern background. Just because you haven't experienced something doesn't mean it doesn't happen, and because it hasn't happened to you, you have no idea how you'd react or feel about it.
