Is There a Kpop Song You Have a Hard Time Listening to... (1 Viewer)

because of something OTHER than disliking the song.

For example, I had a hard time listening to Rain by Taeyeon.
The main reason was that before it dropped everyone was saying it was going to release on February 3rd.
Which was my Great Grandma's birthday and the song sounded sad (based on the title) to top it off.
At the time I was still mourning the loss of my Great Grandma and I found myself unable to listen to the song.
I still think I haven't played the song once nor listened to it because it felt so...personal?

I don't know if the song is bad or good but I still have yet to listen to it 5 years after it dropped.
It didn't even end up dropping on the 3rd.

It’s for the better that we don’t speak and I can enjoy the song now. But then I was too angry to enjoy the song. I really need to stop associating songs with people. Another song I struggled with cause I associated to someone, a different person and not kpop, but it was Ed Sheeran’s Perfect

It sucks but songs are really things we connect to our lives it's why so many people relate to them so it's only natural.

i don't get too personal with songs but the closest one to that would be crooked by gdragon because i had a koreaboo classmate who would often sing that song in between classes (her desk was close to mine so i always heard that) and the sound of her failing the lyrics the way she did somehow re-enters my mind whenever i listen to that song. and it sucks because i love it

i have never listened to a polish rap song in its entirety with my own will and that's my biggest life achievement. ofc i intend to keep it that way
