it really depends. On the length of Yujin's and Wonyoung's deals.

there is a good chance it was either 7 years from the start of IZ*ONE, or 4-5 years from the start of IVE.
Were it me or my kids i would have held out for a 4 year deal at ive's start.
its like sports Ahnyoungz did the rookie deal with IZ*ONE and then got the next deal. Now they will be free agents and break the bank.

They are likely getting paid more than the other members any way.

oh wow, I did never think of this it would be great for the girl if hey had a shorter contract, but also sad for IVE as a group if suddenly Wony or Yujin would leave next year

Heck Take Red Velvet Only Seulgi and Irene have resigned according to SM yet 10years is past and the group is still touring.
Clearly Irene and Seulgi are on a different sequence. Which makes very little sense since the 4 Irene Seulgi Wendy and Joy debut together and IS and W were in sm Rookies and working before debut ( osts ect)

yeah but SM is always extra shady with that kind of stuff, for other companies like JYP or YG usually people seem to know when the contracts are up, at least with the initial ones, as they seem to follow the laws more than SM..

SM seems hellbend to still create that illusion that their groups never disband and idols never leave and are just owned by them for all of time
