it's been years, now the trend isn't even EP, it's single albums with 2/3 songs bruh

3rd generation shifted comeback pacing to be faster paced which you can see if you look at Girls' Generation had around 4 minis versus like 7 full albums and Twice have only around 3 full albums and 12 mini albums because if you spend too much time out of the spotlight nowadays people will forget about you so entertainment across the board has become a lot more faster paced which TikTok is the perfect example of.

on the up side it stops me from buying as there are very few groups where ill drop 20-30 bucks for less than 5-6 songs. and 5 annoys me.
ie and intro or an instrumental to get track count to 6 also not my fav.

that's a normal thing in kpop industry & it has been like that for years, also mini albums has less production cost than an albums so..
